We underwrite an International Reinsurance Treaty portfolio covering the major classes of Property, Marine and Casualty – our preference being to transact business on a non-proportional basis.

Our cedants enjoy the benefit of Brit’s first class ratings from AM Best (A) and Fitch Ratings (A+).

Our underwriting and claims teams’ experience is arguably second-to-none in the London market. This is reflected in the increasing number of occasions on which we act as lead reinsurer. Our specialist underwriters have successfully worked through all phases of the underwriting cycle, thus understanding the challenges faced by our clients and brokers irrespective of market conditions.
